»Skipper

Skip the intro.
Skip the recap.

Skipper turns your iPhone into a remote with one job: jump forward or back on your Apple TV by the number of seconds you choose.

Coming soon to the App Store For iPhone with iOS 17 or later

One tap, the right jump

The Siri Remote skips 10 seconds at a time. Skipper skips the amount you choose.

Buttons you name

Make an "Intro" button for +85 seconds or a "Recap" button for +2 minutes. Set any amount up to 10 minutes, forward or back. Apps that skip in fixed steps get the nearest step.

A set for each app

Each streaming app has its own intro length. Keep a set of buttons for each one. Skipper picks the set for the app that is playing on the TV.

Learns ad breaks

Skip through a few ad breaks and Skipper learns how long they are in that show or app. Then one tap skips the whole break.

Set up in a minute

Your iPhone and Apple TV must be on the same home network.

1

Find your Apple TV

Open Skipper. It shows the Apple TVs on your network. Tap yours.

2

Pair once

Your TV shows a PIN. Type it on your iPhone. To show what is playing, Skipper asks for a second PIN, also only once.

3

Skip

Tap a button. The video on your TV jumps by that amount.

No account, no server

Skipper talks straight to your Apple TV over your Wi-Fi. There is no hub to buy, no account to make and no Skipper server in between. The app sends no data to us and has no ads or trackers. Read the privacy policy.
